Interesting look at our weather patterns in recent winters and causality.

Expensive speculation IMO. If that first chart is correct, how do we explain the farms on Greenland a millennium ago? And the remains of Viking encampments on our east coast from NL north?

Discussion of ‘ The Blob ‘ off the West Coast and further down an explanation of the crazy weather we saw out West in late Summer -early Fall.
Interesting info.

ENSO blog. Warming at the equator but still called Enso neutral.

I found the discussion of the Indian Ocean Dipole timely. I have a lot of Aussie friends suffering right now.

All the above taken into account (or discount) we are headed into some very cold weather here in Alberta for the next couple weeks. -30C for a couple days, at least. Out on the coast of B.C. they are headed for low temperatures not seen since the 1950s. Yikes!
Best regards,
Brian

Temperature looks high to me. What do I know? Nothing.
Got a foot and a half of snow here.
Best regards,
