This queen wasn't laying well so I pulled her from a hive. I was surprised to see how tattered her wings were. What do you think causes that?

Her feet look OK, my picture is blurry and she is no longer with us for more photo shoots. The tarsomere and pretarsus are blurry but visible in this picture.
