May 1st Diary Plastic Sheets?

Unread post by Colino »

My plan is to get out my excluders and the plastic sheets...
I was curious about the plastic sheet mentioned in the diary. Is that just a normal poly or is it that corrugated plastic. Because with us being in an election after we vote there will be a good free/cheap supply of sign boards available.

I use 6 mil silage plastic. It conforms to the hive and leaves no cracks.

The corrugated stuff has its uses too, though.

It looks like the white plastic that boats are wrapped in for the winter. Plenty of that around free this time of year as they pull the wraps off boats to get them in the water.

Yes. Any thick plastic with no holes works. This plastic is the type sold to cover silage.
