Almond pollination

Unread post by Vance G »

The Almond rush is on! I know all the things that make the great haji to the almonds with the possible spread of disease when most of the beekeeping eggs in the continent are in one basket and the pesticide problems and other worries. But what an exciting time and businesses sustained and those wonderful healthy bees raised on that almond pollen and nectar. The bees I have purchased coming off almonds have allways been in first rate shape. If I was a younger man I would go buy a load of them cheap and make my fortune---or lose my butt, but it would be fun to be in the game! I mean a strong colony, in equipment, in the spring for $165 Yankee dollars! What a deal.

I see it is important to keep them level and I assume they aren't drawing any comb! You work with what you have including surface area I guess.
