Have you checked out your Local Library lately? I renewed my library card last week with the "Shortgrass Library System" after having let it lapse for 3 or 4 years. Things have really changed. While they had the partnering of different libraries before, they did not have all the electronic borrowing you can do now. There are now magazines, e-books, audio books, movies and videos that can all be accessed right from home. They can be read and viewed across all your devices and checked out, put on hold etc. just like the hard copies you can still borrow. For a family library card that costs $15.00 we can read dozens of magazines that would cost hundreds of dollars for hard copied subscriptions and save on movie rentals. It's not only the savings it's also the convenience, I'm impressed.
