What do you mean be "screening" honey?
If you are talking about 'straining' honey, AFAIK there is no minimum size, one just uses whatever method one chooses to strain out extraneous stuff like random bee parts, etc.

I don't know either if there is a standard size mesh but you can buy a honey strainer. They are kinda expensive $50-$70 at some Co-ops and some Peavey Marts. It has 2 screens and it fits inside a pot.
