Plan for the 2020 Easter at Labour Day Flotilla 

Thursday: Meeting at 6:30 PM to outline protocols and meet one another.  Some crew stay on board overnight.  Others return early tomorrow.

Friday: Depart Granville Island 8:00 AM sharp.

Motor out of false creek and sail 26 nautical miles to Porlier Pass. May require motoring to arrive at the 12:21 slack.

(Next Porlier opportunity in case of late departure is 6:39 PM)

Transit Porlier at 12:21 Low water slack then Sail to Thetis Island Marina. 10.6 NM.

Saturday: Depart for Dodd Narrows by 10:30 to travel 12 NM

Transit Dodds at 12:45 Low water slack.


 

Sail to Newcastle Island and dock. 6 NM.

Est ETA: 3PM +/-

Afternoon: hiking, dinghy rides. Ferry to town. Swim?

Sunday: Sail to Silva Bay. (12 NM) with lots of (hopefully) sailing and seal watching, etc.

No passes to transit so timing is not critical. Depart when ready.

Interesting entrance to Silva Bay and opportunity to apply Cardinal Buoy lessons.

Monday. Back to Granville Island. Leave when ready. 

Chance to navigate through hazards when leaving.

Sail lots. Empty waste. 

On arrival, Fuel up and tidy up.  Rinse boat.

Off the boat by five.
